Nicollette Sheridan is a British-born American actress born on November 21, 1963 in Rustington, West Sussex, England. Daughter of actress Sally Sheridan and stepdaughter of actor Telly Savalas, Nicollette Sheridan studied at Millfield in Somerset. The family soon migrated to the United States in 1973.
As an actress, Nicollette Sheridan first starred in the soap opera “Paper Dolls,” and was soon recognized in another drama series, “Knotts Landing.” She garnered two Soap Opera Digest Awards for her role in the said show, one in 1990 and another in 1991. In 1991, she was included in People Magazine’s list of “50 Most Beautiful People.”
Nicollette Sheridan soon starred in movies such as “Spy Hard,” “Beverly Hills Ninja,” and “Raw Nerve.” While she slowed down in acting for the next five years, Nicollette Sheridan made a comeback in the hit TV series “Desperate Housewives,” as Edie Britt. Her role led to a Golden Globe Award nomination in 2005. She soon left the show in February 2009.
Nicollette Sheridan will star in the fantasy movie “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows,” which is due on 2010.
Aside from being an actress, Nicollette Sheridan is also an occasional singer, having sung the Frank Sinatra hit “The Second Time Around” with then fiancé Michael Bolton in 2006.
Nicollete Sheridan dated former teen idol Leif Garrett from 1976 to 1985. In the mid-1980s, Nicollette Sheridan dated matinee idol Scott Baio, as well Roger Wilson. She married Harry Hamlin in 1991. When her marriage to Hamlin ended in 1993, Nicolette Sheridan had a quick relationship with Michael Bolton. In 2004, she dated and was engaged to personal trainer Nicklas Soderblom, but called it quits before wedding plans were made. Michael Bolton and Sheridan rekindled their relationship in late 2005 and had announced an engagement in March 2006. After Bolton and Sheridan split in August 2008, Nicollette began dating Steve Pate.
